The dome needs repairs but the state is broke. I get that. What I don't get is that Colorado state lawmakers are tossing around the idea of seeking advertisers to advertise on the construction curtains that cover the repairs.
I guess I do get it. I've learned in class that advertising is big bucks! I guess I am just tired of seeing logos and sponsors on so many venues. I guess allowing advertising to pay the $13 million in repairs is brilliant. Just disappointing.
I'm diving into mass media for Spring semester 2010 at Metropolitan State College of Denver. I'll take a critical look at as many types of mass media as I can and write about them here. This is for my JRN 1010 project.
